I came home from Orientation from school today. I was expecting to change out of my school uniform and hang out with my friends. But when I got home, all my clothes were gone (except for my school uniforms and one pair of PJs and my old PE uniform). My mom donated all my clothes without asking me, and I'm stuck wearing school uniforms when I go out (because I'm not wearing the other two out of the house). I don't have a lot of money to buy clothes, so what can I do?

Also, my mom won't let me untuck the shirts of my uniform. She said the school dress policy applies at home too.

What can I do!?

Donating all your clothes without asking you is wrong and inconsiderate. Your mom should be willing to give a little money to you since it's her fault you have no clothes. Maybe get a job or do some chores around the house for money.

omg!! i would freak out if my mom did that(i go to private school 2)unless u have a way of buying clothes with your own money then the only thing u can do is maybe borrow jeans froma friend every once in a while until u get enough money to buy your own....try talkin to your mom and working out an agreement...like maybe u will wear untucked uniform shirts and shoes is she lets u wear normal pants and shorts....im really sorry!! i cant even imagine wat it must feel like to get all your clothes thrown out!

Well, I agree with having a chat with mom...
and if your father lives with you, ask him too.

I would even ask your mom if you and she could go shopping together and you could at least get a couple pairs of jeans and some unrevealing tops just to wear out with your friends.

But, if these don't work, you need to talk with your school principle or counselor and have them intervene.

Oh, and I think you need better friends. I know my friends would never handcuff me during a sad movie. Honestly, these "friends" are probably just laughing at all the stupid stuff that they're planning on doing to you.

I'm sorry, God bless you.

gee, that is the worst thing that could ever happen.
maybe take some of her clothes little by little each day and hide it for a while until she starts complaining? that the best i can come up with.

tell your mom how you feel in a respectful manner, then your mom may rethink her idea.

But then again has your mom been after you to clean your room?Has she been after you to quit sassing, mouthing off, be home on time? Any other things that she has asked or been asking and you have ignored, or argued about.

Maybe it is a case of tough love and she has tried every other avenue.

Wow!
I'd call some kind of children advocate.
You can get the numbers anywhere online.
She shouldn't have done that.
I'd be acting all suicidal to make her worry.
