Sounds like you not only need to find a new job, but a new husband...if the only reason he values you is for your paycheck, you are with the wrong man. I am not saying you don't love him; it just doesn't sound like he loves you back...don't waste your time in a relationship where the person is suppossed to be your biggest supporter isn't there for you when you need them.

As it sounds like the other employee had a witness that backed them up, it was two person's word against one and you could have been fired, but sounds like they will indicate to any potential employers that you resigned, which will look much better to potential employers.

You could try filing for unemployment and you former employer will have to prove you were fired for just cause.

It would be a waste of time to try to iron it out with the owners as they will back their managers, and really, do you want to go back to place that doesn't value you as an employee and you always have to watch your back. Even best case scenario, the owner lets you come back, the other will always be watching and waiting for you to screw up any little thing so they can get rid of you...is not worth it!

Surely you can find a better job than this one. Get a job at a reg. hospital or a nursing home.
