Vm ware opened 80% today and I wanted to get in but I tried buying shares at $35 and I couldnt buy any. How do people buy stocks before the ipo's skyrocket. I am waiting for Visa and would really appreciate any help. Another question where do you think VMW is going. Any other recommendations will be appreciated.

sure, yet... usually it takes extreme funds and an invite (connections). In theory that's available via a handful of exchanges that have popped as much as commerce illiquid and private shares. the undertaking is that that may no longer functional in maximum situations for the small investor by way of fact the human beings advertising are not fascinated in advertising hundreds of dollars at a time. they may be keen to sell thousands of hundreds at a time, yet tens of millions is possibly the extra common objective. Illiquid shares additionally may be constrained in who's allowed to purchase them. i could assume the industry to open as much as the small investor ultimately because it has with "while issued" shares...yet no longer precise now.

pre ipo stocks are not for general public. usually pre IPO shares are offered in bulk and held by some private investors only.

I'm waiting on Visa too but sadly you can't buy until it hits the exchanges.
