Ick! A LOT! I'd say a good 5 - 10 times. I started out with Light Beer and try to stick with that. Some are smoother than others. Stay away from dark beers.

Actually for me it wasn't how many times. It was the kind of beer. Beers like Coors or Corona suck to me. They just don't taste good and no matter how much a tried to like them, just couldn't. On the other hand, German/austrian beers, I liked right away. Those actually tasted like something someone would want to drink for taste rather than for the purpose of getting drunk.

I'm in my 40s and I STILL DON'T like the taste of beer. Tequila is another story, though, lol.

After 3687 beers, I began to realize just how much I actually enjoyed it! I was very close to quitting but I'm so glad I gave it a second chance!
