One that I always do with my dad's mom is like tune her out, because she will hardly let you get in a word edge wise. And for most other people that I am talking on the phone with for the first time I sort of hold the phone away from my mouth. In case I say something stupid they can't hear me or if they are being dramatically boring I move it away from my mouth so they don't hear me moving around too much doing something else.

Telling my sister that she sold my fathers assets after he died and did not share the money with me. I told her that she was derelict in her duties as an executor by not including me in the decision making process.
