Of course. There are cruise controls made for standard transmission, and there are a limited number of remote start units made, they have a different installation setup, and won't work unless the car is turned off the proper way as well.
A standard transmission car can not be started with a remote starter unless the car has been parked in neutral with the parking brake fully set.
Here is one make, ProStart, available in Canada, for either manual or automatic transmissions.

Here is FAQ page for another make, AstroStart, that can be installed in standard.

Any car can have a cruise control, manual or automatic. They tend to work better on automatics, because even with cruise control, your car may shift down or up depending on the terrain. If your car is a manual, you would have to shift yourself and reset the cruise control. Remote start is a different issue. Most late model manual transmission cars won't start unless you have the clutch pedal pushed all the way down, which prevents idiots from starting their car when it is in gear. I wouldn't say it is not available, just unlikely.

It sounds like the car that you have found is automatic and yes manual cars have cruse control or remote start now a days. Just to be sure, since you can't drive manuals buy a car years 2000 and up pretty much they're automatic/manual with cruise control...

If the car came with them, as in the past owner turned them over when he traded the car in, than you should NOT have to pay for that stuff. If it does not come with the stuff, than you can either choose to ask for the sales person to give you more off the price or take the car "as is". you can usually go to a auto store and buy a owners manual and you can get a extra set of keys. it might be pricey to get a remote. so, if the dealer has that stuff and ask you to pay for it, than he is full of it.

yes they have cruise control on them but usually not remote start, you can have remote locks and remote door open ,but they don't add remote start to these because that would mean it would have to stay in neutral all the time, and that's to dangerous, good luck on it.
