He was quite brilliant in this aspect. He cleverly linked the war in Iraq to 9-11. He repeated it over and over in multiple speeches. He did not outright link it but it was there and it worked. Now his followers somehow think that war in Iraq is keeping us safe because there have been no terrorist attacks on US soil since 9-11. Repeat, repeat, repeat truly does work with these types of people.

In 2000 when Israeli war hero Ariel Sharon visited a Muslim holy site (which is also a Jewish holy site), the Palestinians started launching a bunch of terrorist attacks against Israel. Saddam Hussein funded them. Although it wasn't until 2002 or so that Bush started leading the country to war against Iraq.

All thru the the 90s we heard from leading Democrats what a bad man Saddam was, they even passed a resolution making Regime change in Iraq a matter of National policy. Signed I might add by president Clinton. Were the Democrats lying then or are they lying now?

There is no way in hell you were ever stationed at Barksdale and have no clue about what's going on in present day Iraq or around the world. We both know that Saddam broke 17 U.N. Laws for 17 years, we also BOTH know he helped finace the 2 U.S. Embassy Bombings in Kenya and Tanzina, you would know that due to your level 11 Anti-Terrorism TRaining.
How much was enough for Saddam and Osama to keep attacking U.S. Interests around the world??? You say were in the Air Force which by the way I highly doubt, Did you have any friends who died in 96 at Khobar Towers 19 Fellow Airman Dead 300 Fellow Airman wounded???
We also both Saddam was a supporter of Terrorism against U.S. interests around the world, Now let me reducate you Osama and Saddam did not like each personally, but they had a common enemy and when you have a common foe you have a alliance a safe haven for terror trainning in Iraq under Saddam, you can't be that stupid and say when we got there the terrorists just showed up???
Also we both know that if we leave without finishing the job, or at least stablizing Iraq, Osama and the boys are push us around like they did in the 90's, Khobar, Embassy, U.S.S. Cole and will continue to bring the fight to us on our own soil like 9-11 and dictate policy to the U.S. and the rest of the world. Were are fighting for our way of life, but you fail to see.
Next point you and I both know Military intell is the best possible guess at the time, Clinton bombed Saddam in 98 and Clinton himself has said he thought Saddam had WMD's and he did Mustard gas is a WMD and you should know that. Congress voted for the war with the same intell, besides didn't YOU FIND IT STRANGE SADDAM kept U.N. WEAPON INSPECTORS OUT and not let them do there jobs, think about it,
Because if you ever had any type of terrorism class when you were in or actually read a Military intell report on the region, you wouldn't be asking the questions you do. You know better than this, you know what Saddam did to his people and his history with U.N WEAPON inspectors and you know the damage Osama has done to us through the years, wheres your head at?

You really don't understand why we're in Iraq do you.
Plant a successful democratic republic in the middle of our two biggest problems (i.e. Saudi Arabia and Iran) and you're going to disrupt terrorism and the governments that support it.
When it fails, and it will, we won't have to worry about justifying why we turned half of the middle east into green glass.

Shortly after the troupes were there and Saddam was killed. But it was not just Bush but the House and senate were telling us the same thing. Bush is not the only one telling us so was the Democrats and republicans.

Barrack Obama is back ladies and gentleman. How was your little spat with Hillary? Are you still looking to invade our allies (Pakistan) and appease ruthless dictators (Saddam)?

"I, George W. Bush, do solemly swear. . ."
There are some that will believe him if he tells them that the sky is orange and the earth is triangular.
Funny how that "wag the dog" thing works, huh?? Nothing like going after the terrorists by invading a country they AREN'T in. Kinda like busting a crack house by hitting the house in the Hamptons. . .
