Pick one, it's either:

--How many *missing links* are there, in evolution, between humanity (presumed to be Homo Sapiens) and the "Almighty" (presumed to be the Creator of All That Exists)? Each species would count as one link, with Homo Sapiens being "one".

--How many *memes*, or fundamental concepts, are there that will *alter* your DNA if you pursue them deeply and/or obsessively enough? Essentially how many basic, fundamental *thought forms* or Platonic ideals, can be re-encoded into the four letters/variations of DeoxyriboNucleic Acid, those Gs, Ts, As and Cs?

Of course, I may well be overlooking something, and/or trying too damn hard, but hey...a little ambition is good for the soul!

Oh, I know.....

42 will be my age *One Year* from today, that's what! ^_^

Edit: It figures, I'd come up with *two more* this morning, now that I remember the *context* behind the Question:

--42 might answer the Question: "How many different ways are there for *life* to evolve into intelligence?" With the understanding of course that *we humans* are rather excluded from the list. o_o

--Or it might answer: "How many *degrees of separation* is the average intelligent lifeform removed from The Big Bang?" We already know that any given person is only *six* degrees of separation removed from any other, so in terms of cause and effect....this might be it. As in, how many cause/effect sequences have to happen to go from "Big Bang" to "me"?

Thanks for your time! *rofl* =))

I think it was a year something important happened, 1942.
but only the government knows about it, or some historian somewhere.
then there's all the other obvious questions whose answer is 42: 7x6, 21x2, 11+11, etc....
that was a funny movie - Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy.

here's another question: how did I make it to 2342 on yahoo! answers?!? but the answer isn't 42, it's just got a 42 in it.... LOL, hee hee, crazy....

The ultimate question in life is always "why are we here?" So if the answer is 42, that's interesting, but it just creates more questions.

How many roads must a man walk down?

Thank you Anonymous. With the spelling and grammar I see here on a daily basis, it is extremely doubtful that anybody here is holding on to a piece of information that profound!
