So i have two email addresses, and i wanted to get rid of one of them for good. But i don't know how, i let the one i don't want go without checking it for a few weeks but it did'nt work. So any idea of what i can do, or should i just wait like two or three months and check to see if it is still open.?

Is it a yahoo account? you can get it deleted permanently if it is.. i dono about any others.. If its yahoo.. Go to this link and put your ID and password and it will deleted everythin permanently..

Emails stay open until they get removed from violations I know I have accounts from about a year still open

e-mail the provider an requst it be deleted.
