every since 9/11 all the government agencies have tightened up.. you will definatly need a birth certificate.. and a few other forms of id also.. here in NY they require 7 kinds of id.. to be safe i would call before you go to make sure you have everything ;)

depends on the state... but usually, yes you need the birth certificate to be able to meet the ID requirements
Some states will accept the military ID and not require the birth cert... but better to have and not need, than to need and not have.

It's not required in Georgia, especially if you already have a learner's permit. Still, it is better to be safe than sorry. Take it with you if you have it.
Edit: It wasn't required when I took my test, unless things have changed since then.

I think it's different by state. Over here in Texas, we need a VOE (Verification of Enrollment) to show that we are still enrolled in school. I don't know if that's the same for you over there in GA.

I can't remember for sure, but it wouldn't hurt to have it, just in case. Your learner's permit should be used for indentification and to verify your age. If you think you need it, then take it. good luck.
