What do you think is the best, sheer coverage, jane iredale, or bare minerals. If you have any other powders that are better that are also good for your skin please tell me :) thanx

LOVE IT! Feels so light but gives great coverage. Won't make you break out (all my friends, my mom, and my sister es and we have all had great results) and looks natural! The price i not bad for the quality of the product (get the starter kit to begin with because it is a great value and it is all you need to get started)If you feel like it isn't lasting all day ( i dont have that problem) put on mineral veil under your foundation.

PS one girl said she didn't like the warmth but it can look really great just use the angled brush so you don't make it look streaky but I am sure the people at the store will tell you all this if you get one of the make overs!

I received Bare Minerals as a gift earlier this year, and now I won't live without it. I have never used Jane Iredale, but I do know that her product line is often used for women with permanent scarring or major skin problems. It's also extremely expensive.

I think Bare Minerals is well priced, and I'm pleased with the quality of the products. They are as good the advertisements say they are. I've used everything but the lip products and the mascara. My favorite Bare Minerals products are the foundation, the Mineral Veil, Well-Rested (for the eyes), and the eyeshadows, of which I own a lot. The only Bare Minerals product I hate is Warmth because it looks like orange muddy goop on my skin.

I'm glad someone asked this, because I've been wanting to try it but didn't know if I'd like it. I never wear foundation (except once in awhile a powder foundation by Lancome, and that's maybe 3 times a year!) because I HATE the way it feels heavy and after a few hours looks like I'm wearing a mask. I usually just use pressed powder, but I'd like to have something with a bit more coverage. I'll be watching to see how the others answer this, so thank you for asking!

I am a professional make up artist for 20 years and I will tell you that the worst products you can buy are bare minerals or sheer cover , all those powder minerals that have been infomercial ed to death all contain bismuth and talc's that clog pores and create horrible break outs. I strong advise you not to waste your money on such a bad product. If what your looking for is a great foundation go search BEE LUSCIOUS COSMETICS their products are hypo allergenic and never clog pores or cause breakouts , its high quality and fabulous results.

Bare minerals is pretty good. I like it better then the sheer coverage. My only cons are that it doesn't last all day, especially in the humidity and it's not the greatest for taking with you in your purse.

The good news is that it doesn't make you break out, it offers great coverage, but doesn't look cakey. The bad news is that if you have large pores, this might not be the product for you as it might sink into them and make them look more noticeable. I personally like tinted moisturizer the best for natural coverage-- it evens out your skin tone and moisturizes skin.
