I think Subway is great. I have eaten there pretty much every day for the last 8 years. I haven't found a sandwich that I don't like and I have not grown tired of eating there. I think the meat portions are just fine, especially what you pay for them. Sure you get a lot of meat at Quiznos, but they charge more. Ask for double meat at Subway and you will get as much meat as a Quiznos sandwich but at a smaller price.

food is always subjective. I like them, but their presentation just isn't as "classy" as say..... quiznos. Still u can get a 12" at subway cheaper than a quiznos medium sub (8" or 9"? Every store answer seems split about their sub sizes), which is why I generally choose subway. I also like how subway lets u pile on the veggies. At Q's, u try to deviate slightly into getting more than what the sub comes with and they bring up that the Classic Italian doesn't come with olives and then freeze like deer in headlights. I'll eat Qs only every now and then

SW, their food may be fresher than McD and BK, but their meats and stuff are still just premade, delivered, and piled into bins. Not as fresh as say.... prepared from scratch, which is what some ppl may scoff at.

Else, I don't really get it beyond presentation. Where I work, several buffets go half price after 3p since they want a way to make even some extra $$ off their remaining food that they have to throw away anyways. I told some of colleagues about it and they weren't interested. Reason: The food's been sitting there all day at that point. At a Boston Market like store, a counter lady said she didn't have cornbread when there was clearly one left. She didn't want to give it to me bc that one is broken in half. I told her I ddin't mind and she gave it to me. To top it off, if i can't finish a BK whopper jr., ill throw it in the fridge and eat it 3 days later. Some ppl i know will straight up throw out fast food leftovers, maybe except pizza. Do I have "poor taste"? While I could say yes, I could also say that some of my acquaintainces are just too picky/finicky.

I think Subway is good. Everything seems very fresh. Where I live we only have Subway and Quiznos though; I hear people on here mentioning other sub places that are better, but we don't have any other places where I live.

Every item they sell, of sliced meats, taste exactly the same. Like salty paper.
To add any substance to the sandwich you pretty much have to have them add some of EVERY topping...

Their cheese steak sub has absolutely NO flavor at all.
The meatball sandwich should come with a side of antacid.

Their drinks are all Coke products, I prefer Pepsi products.

Subway is like a LAST RESORT place.
It's kinda nasty.
