I've read books on the drug dealing life, the life in the ghetto, inner city. Here's my question: short of living for a couple of years in an inner city ghetto, what book will teach you about the life that goes on there: a novel set in a ghetto, an autobiography, or some book of sociology or psychology? If you can think of a particular book that shows life as it really is among the drug dealins subculture, what is it? I say it's CLOCKERS by Richard Price, the book, not the movie. The movie was really bad and nothing like the book

Remember, Clockers is a NOVEL, but a memoir or non-fiction.
