Some of the friendliest, most misunderstood, inventive and capable of rising above almost any adversity, people on the planet. The fact that so few live in Eire compared to the numbers abroad, speaks volumes for their ability to adapt and overcome hardships that most would curl up and die from.
I have met many native northern and southern Irish and have yet to meet one that didn't immediately earn my utmost respect.

maybe friendly people with ruddy cheeks? i have an Irish neighbor, and i go to an Irish school, but Irish people are really nice and friendly. I like Irish people.
