do people feel uncomfortable if i hold eye contact for too long?

if im talking to a person i like to look them in the eyes but does that make them feel awkward? cuz now i normally look away after a few seconds.

That's their problem.

I like people who hold eye contact. It can show confidence, assertiveness, honesty, friendliness, attentiveness, or plain old sexiness :P

Smile. I've been experienced the same thing my entire life. There might be a couple of reasons why some people have a hard time looking into your eyes:
- they are being dishonest with you,
- they don't feel like talking with you at the moment,
- you might be a bit too intense for their liking,
- they are emotionally unstable.
But no matter what the reason is, it is not your problem. You are doing nothing wrong, sweetheart.
