How do I set up my bluetooth?

i have an Samsung phone and I have verizon.
its an "Anycom"brand bluetooth. (but i don't think that matters)
I just want to know how to set up a bluetooth

call vz they have a program called blue tooth paring guide
the technical service peopel can do this for you in under 20 minutes
call from a phone that is not the cell phone.
