Why can't Merriman have a celebration dance? He is on his way to be being one of the best MLB's to ever play the game.
One more thing, why don't people bash Ray Lewis for doing his dance? Merriman is on his way to being as good as Lewis.

I am a kid, I'm 16, and I actually play sports, unlike most of the people answering these questions. And, honestly, these things are fun to do and your teammates love it when you do these things. Think of the children, please.

You people are stuck up, most of the players in the league don't want him to stop, he has been getting calls from players on other teams telling him not to stop.

Yes. That dance just seems to inspire him to plow over more people. I want him to keep going!

The dance is stupid. Act like a professional athlete. Be excited for good plays, congratulate team members, but these individual show boating dances need to stop. They are getting tiresome.

The dance is a mockery to sportsmanship in any sport. He should stop and stop making a fool of himself in front of a national audience. Oh cool a steroid freak does a dance because he hit someone. You should be ashamed of promoting such a false idol to little kids who try and play sports and imitate his foolish antics.

He's a professional athlete, he gets paid to do his job and his job is to make plays. So should a grocery store clerk do the dance when she checks someone out? Act like you've done it before and will do it again. Leave the dances to professional dancers.

Shawne Merriman needs to just go away. He's tested positive for steroid use - that, to me, should translate as lifetime ban.

Maybe since he is off the juice he feels like he can't play at the same level he once did, so he stopped his stupid little dance.

It's not even a dance. It's him acting like a retard having a seizure. He should juice up everytime he sacks the QB.
