I try but I always break eye contact.
what can I do to hold better eye contact?

could be many reasons. you pick.
1. not confident
2. parents taught you it's impolite.
3. you have the ability to see through someone's eyes and see their sorrow and pain.
4.intimidation. the people you come across might scare you.
5. you are not interested in what that person maybe telling you

It might be a very slight form of autism. Almost everyone falls into the autistic scale so its not like you should concern yourself with this however.

When you're confident and have nothing to hide it's easy to look in another persons eyes.
Do some work on yourself to find out what's going on with you.
