You'll get a pretty darn warm welcome anywhere in the US. The people are some of the friendliest around wherever you go. Seeing the "real" America is another story. Everyone has their own idea of what the "real" America is and they are all correct because that's what makes it real for them. It's vastness and variety are what make America so amazing. To see the "real" America you'd need to visit the big cities and small towns, both coasts and the middle of the country. Experience it's vastness and variety. I could take a lifetime and it would always be changing.

Wherever you go, have an awesome trip!!!

Stay away from New York, LA & Orlando & get out into the interior of the country & get to know the real people. You'll find them all friendly & suckers for a British accent.

You will find our country to be very friendly. And we do like you Brits. Aussies, Canadians to.

Almost like extended family. Our countries do not always agree politically.

But have, and will continue to stand together when one needs help from the other.

You did not mention how many days you have? And what all you can see really depends upon how much time you have.

Thanks for visiting!
