I think there is a time for each. To me a cupcake is like a party for one, like you can put a candle on it, you can decorate the cupcake for holidays, etc. I don't like having to remove the paper on a cupcake, knowing that extra money was spent for really no reason, so I see them for just special occasions. I agree with you that chocolate cupcakes are really good, especially the super dark and chocolately kind that's almost like brownies, but then I'd need a lot of "dream whip" on it so I'd prefer it in cake form like in a long pan. I like pies but don't have them anymore unless "Bakers Pies" makes them. And I'd have so many favorites that I couldn't decide.

I hate em both, they have flaws...The cupcake has the stub..wich is no good and the pie has all that extra crust that folds over and thats no good aswell...i prefer the cookie but I've found flaws with that chocolate cookies, the chocolate chips arent evenly distributed...when will we learn?!

I make the best chocolate cupcakes! I make marshmallow creme filling and fill the middles of the cupcakes and then frost them with homeade chocolate buttercream... so delish!

Cupcakes are good but i dont like icing very much so i would have to say pies but not with seeds in it, yuck! Can i say ice cream, theres nothing wrong with ice cream.
