My favorite was probably Brando's portrayal of Don Vito Corleone in the first Godfather movie. But, it's because of personal things. First of all, a fellow alumnus of my high school produced the movie. His name is Albert S. Ruddy. Secondly, the scene where Brando's character is lying in a hospital bed after being shot was shot in the hospital in which I was born. It was called St. Peter's and sat at the corner of Warren and Henry Street in Brooklyn. The scenes were shot after the hospital closed. The building is still there, but I understand it's an assisted living center now.

Robert DeNiro in Godfather II was great!

to the man who answered Jim Carrey, he wasn't in those movies!.. Maybe you're thinking of James Caan, same initials. Very different (and also talented) man!
