Is there anything more Un-American than this? NO!!!

KCBS--
The Blue Angels daredevil air show should perform in October on schedule after a proposed resolution to ban them was tabled by the committee Monday. Supervisor Chris Daly wants Congress to stop the Blue Angels’ Fleet Week flyovers and introduced the resolution.

“The Blue Angels are totally unnecessary,” said a resolution supporter. “I believe they are sent here to terrorize this town because we are an anti-war city.”

How stupid is that! San Fran is ridiculously liberal. I bet if Clinton was still in office that attitude towards the Blue Angels would change in a heartbeat.

Terrorize the town. What total Barbara Streisand!!!

Ok, let's just all take a breath here.

Chris Daly is a nutjob. No one in San Francisco likes or listens to him. He's trying to make noise because he's p.o'ed that he couldn't get enough support to run against Newsom for Mayor.

Screwing around with Fleet Week would upset the business community. I recognize that all you who have never spent any time in this city think we are all Godless commies, but the almighty dollar still rules around here -- Newsom and the rest of the board is NEVER going to do something that will hurt Fleet Week because that would cost the real power (Chinatown, the tourist industry near the wharf, Union Square) actual dollars.

And, fyi, I'm a liberal who loves San Francisco, and I'm down at Crissy Field EVERY October to watch the show. I'd never abide anything that would detract from this celebration of our brave Marines, Soldiers, and Sailors. I don't care what you say, San Francisco LOVES these heroes (and no, I'm not talking THAT way -- get your mind out of the gutter).

Aha , i think some of these nay-sayers should read the article about it . On Monday , Daly said he will continue to persue this when their council gets back from vacation in September . And the resolution has not been defeated , only tabled until then .

Another thing in the article that really makes ya wanna smack some sense into those people. .. . . . Supporters of the ban sank so low as to try and make it look like they love veterans when they also cited that ' We don't want to traumatize veterans when they hear the roar of the jets' . .. .What The F. . . . . .???????

Keep this topic fresh for the return of their council in September . Good Job !!!

This is the part of the Democratic Party that they always try to hide from the rest of America.

They only get elected nationally when they pretend to be something other than what they really are.

And some of them trash American leaders and values all the time, calling our troops Nazis (Durbin), stupid (Kerry) and cold-blooded killers (Murtha). But they're so offended when we even question their patriotism the slightest bit. What a joke. Like any bully, they pick on someone and they cry when people fight back.

Of course they are, it's start's at the top, the mayor even signed a bill for a gay-Porn-production company day, S.F. is also a sanctuary city for illegals, and the only place on earth where Barry Bonds can inject Beef Roids, cheat on his taxes, cheat on his wife and break an honorable mans record and be loved. I'm surprised they don't have a Hugo Chavez day.

It is San Francisco that is all you need to know.

If they hate Blue Angels so much I do believe they should have Fleet week somewhere else.

Also any federal money should go else where too.

SF is too stupid to know the difference between war and the military. A war is what the military fights in because they are ordered to do so. They fight a war because the President, who people in SF helped put into office deemed war to be necessary. The military fights to preserve the rights of all those SF idiots. In other words, the people in the military fight and die so not only do morons in SF not have to, but so that they can also in return hate the military for doing so. In other countries those same SF F-kers would be killed, only after seeing their whole family killed in front of them, for saying such things. You're welcome. If SF would learn what responsibility was, they'd see that they are responsible for the war they hate. Those who voted for Bush, voted for the man who ordered the war. Those who voted against Bush, failed to do enough to get the word out about the other guy. Those who did not vote are just as guilty because they were (are) too weak to stand up for themselves. But if SF knew what responsibility was, they wouldn't pander to the homeless so much.

I cant think of a more Fagged out city than San Fran. If that place fell into the ocean. I would not even bother to turn on the TV and find out the details. That is one city we dont need.
