What's better? To have health but be a complete clueless idiot, who doesn't know anything about meaning of life. Or.. a very ill person who is very clear minded and intelligent?

...a bourgeois question, contemptible to the core, for those who practice every minute their desire for a comfortable death.

If anything to be ill person who is very clear minded and intelligent, look at bill gates? Granted he wasn't ill, but smart people can do anything. Where as idiots are just without hope.
Plus a clueless idiot doesnt realize there is something wrong, where an intelligent (given common sense) realizes theres a problem and options to fix it.

Being an ill genius, can tell you it is not all that fun. But I can't imagine sacrificing my intelligence for my health. Though I suppose if I were a moron I wouldn't miss it. It is a tough call. I really miss having my health. Being in pain every moment of your life is not fun. And knowing the answers to everyone's questions doesn't really make me feel better. But, I'd really hate to be stupid. There are many things I would be willing to sacrifice to be healthy again, but my mind is not one of them.

I don't know anything about 'meaning of life', meaning for life, yes, meaning of, that's actually self contradictory. Being a clueless idiot I haven't a clue and I am very clear minded and self informed of this fact, intelligent. My health could be better.

The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

Stephen Hawking has done more by twitching his right eye than most of us will do in a lifetime. Brilliance is powerful and difficult to contain. That man can barely communicate and yet he is opening the mysteries of the universe. Exactly how ill were you thinking. Can you move more than one eye? If yes then you should be able to do anything.
All true limitations are in our minds.

Knowledge illuminates opportunity, it does not empower one to make affective changes more so than an idiot.
When the choice is available it is a question of conscience, not foresight.

I think ignorance is bliss..
But I think if I had to make the decision today, and it would affect the rest of my life, I would choose to be ill.

No one is intelligent. Each of has only a minor fraction of the total knowledge available.

I'm fine with the judgment of an "idiot". I'm "smart enough" to know that it is only a word and that it doesn't matter.
