Not better, only more energetic and prolific on Y/A.
I especially notice under math/science, the most quality answers to tough problems don't necessarily come from persons that have the highest volume of answers.
I read answers to problems that I can't answer, but can learn from a good answerer that can refresh my background knowledge. Those categories' questioners more often leave best answer to voters. I've seen wrong or confusing answers voted for often enough. Though I don't think it is as a rule, I suspect there are always groups of mutually friendly folks who vote for one anothers' answers as part of the points or badge contest.

Hardly! The criteria is murky... as near as I can tell it's a case of hanging around one catagory... Some of the designated "T.C." s are very well-informed, and try very hard to be helpful, and are always (or nearly always- there IS a limit!) pleasant. Some have no idea! why they were awarded this ...badge... and suspect Y!A issued them a target. I have assertained that the badge relates to quanity, and not quality so much... }:>

no i dunn think they think theyre better...i dunn evn think theyre better..they jus answered more questions && got best answers more than the rest of us...they earned that title fair && square...
