NOPE- not at all. Ordonez is an exceptional player...and to me MVP should be his middle name! He seems to always come through and I've never seen him display a poor attitude or an EGO, like that OTHER guy (lol).
GO TIGERS!!

As Ordonez is to the Tigers, Alex is to the Yankees. It would be hard to choose if I was a Sportswriter. Being from the NY area I would vote for Alex. His numbers are too good to ignore.

If the Yankees end up making the playoffs due in large part to the great season A-Rod is having I can't imagine anyone else winning the award. Ordonez is great, but unless the voters pull a Karl Malone and decide they're tired of giving the award to Jordan every year I like A-Rod's chances.

Maggies #'s
.356 21hr 104rbs 89runs scored 2sb's
Arod
.300 39hr 114rbi 107runs scored 14sb's
Mag's has a higher average, but thats it. Arod is a more productive player overall. Not to menction that Arod is the biggest reason why the Yankees are tied for the AL wildcard.

No way will Ordonez be MVP... A-Rod, Ichiro, and Guerrero have far better chances. But at this point I think we can all come to the conclusion that A-Rod will win it. Even if he stopped playing now haha

He'd be the front-runner right now, but ARod and Guerrero deserve some consideration, and with a good finish, any of them could take it.

A-rod is a better player and has better numbers. He also plays his position much better and mean more to his team. Maggs is having a great year but sorry he is not MVP.
