Does a man have to ejaculate INSIDE you for there to be a good chance of getting pregnant? Or can he ejaculate and then RE enter you and still get you pregnant? My husband was discussing this with me and he's pretty sure that sperm don't do a whole lot of relocating on their own that they need A LOT of help getting where they need to go. I mean I know the obvious, you can't get pregnant through sperm in the hot tub water crap but I'm wondering if he has to come INSIDE me for us to get pregnant. Sorry to be so graphic, but we're trying to conceive our first and we're a little unsure of the basics obviously! THANKS!

you can get pregnant if he ejaculates outside you. but for best chances he needs to be inside you. after sex lay on your back for 10 minutes preferably with a pillow or two under your hips. this will help the sperm go further and increase your chances of getting pregnant.

Well you are going to have a much better chance of concieving if he ejaculates inside you, but if he has sperm on himself and re-enters you could possibly still get pregnant.
The higher the sperm get 'shot' inside the vagina the better chance of conceiving as they will reach the egg before they die. Also on this topic, boy sperm swim fast but die quickly so if you want to conceive a boy then deeper penetration sex, and sex on the day (within24hrs) of ovulation betters your chances. Girl sperm swim slower but last longer so you should try 1-2 days before ovulation for a girl as they should be waiting patiently for the egg when it gets there! This is no way a fool proof way of conceiving either sex child but it factual about how long they last and how quick they swim!
Basically you are going to ovulate 10-14 days after the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP) so having sex once a day for about 5 days around this time should get you pregnant in a few months. Its not so clinical either, just enjoy it!

Deep penetration during ejaculation is the best. Sperm does not live very long after air hits it. Your husband should definitely be ejaculating inside of you. You can also get pregnant if he ejaculates on the outside of your vagina, but your chances aren't as strong as if they would be inside...why waste the sperm

Some sperm are pretty good swimmers. So good, that even pre-ejaculate could produce an egg beater.
But the obvious answer is, the more seimen, the deeper it is, the better the chances.

There is a better chance of getting pregnant if he ejaculates in you but there have been cases where women have gotten pregnant from the preejaculate because it contains sperm as well.

If you are really trying and are having trouble I would give them all the help that they can get. They die if not in a moist enviroment. However, they live three to four days in a moist enviroment as I have heard. I am sure if air were to hit them that it would kill off a few.

Well my and my fiance just had sex and he ejaculated in me then he keeps going for a few minutes then goes out.Thats how we concieved our first baby.
