depending on the species or maybe you can go according what you feel the best
Pick one example - my dog (i know yours is fish...) i name her baby bcuz i feel that she is very like a baby... and given her the name, which in return, she act like a baby and sleep most of the time... haha...
well, here's some suggestions for your fish:
Goldie, Middy, Sunny, Charlie, and maybe even, Muaks (meaning kisses)! Hope you like it! ;-)

We named our bog ole fat goldfish Hank. Just sounded like a good name for a fat goldfish haha. Also Tank maybe? WE also had some named Scooter, Finny, Jaws, and Murky.
We have a little sense of humor as you can tell haha.
