It is a declaration of Independence and stated with good manners so to illustrate to those of good conscience, world wide, that their desire for liberty is NOT intended for the sole purpose of self-aggrandizement or empowerment of only those writing the declaration.
They are declaring they need to go their separate ways and need to have equal status in the world at large.
They believe that God intends man be free from tyranny and therefore the separation would be blessed by God's desire for human freedom.

Well it's the opening paragraph of the Declaration of Independence written by Jefferson. Basically it was meant to tell England to kiss the butts of the Colonists............in a very nice and well written way.
