I know this means no chemistry between the Sims. But has anyone ever had any luck with making them like each other and eventually get together. i am so disappointed becauise I actually like BRED these two sims to get together and now that they are grown up and talking to each other, they have no chemistry. Any way I can make it work?

They should both have the drink that changes their turn on's/turn off's in their inventories, right? If you make them both take it and make their turn on's correspond with the qualities of the other person, their should be some chemistry. You could also try something from the matchmaker.

Don't fret! There is much hope for the two sims in question.
Chemistry does not effect whether or not two sims will like each other and eventually "get together." It just makes it easier (or harder, in the case of no chemistry) to develop and maintain a high Relationship score, especially regarding loves and crushes. Just keep up the social interactions, and your sims will be "soul mates" in no time.
NOTE: The chemistry a sim feels towards another can change over time, depending on the history of the social interactions between the two sims. Because of this, your two sims may, after getting to be friends or best friends, become attracted to one another.

In addition to the other answers...if the potion is not in the sim's inventory, you can also buy it from the matchmaker directly.

scooter answered your question. they should have the drink in their inventories. Also if you still have trouble getting them to "accept" flirting from eachother, wait to flirt until they have reached the best-friend level.
