I agree with all the previous posters pretty much.. those were great 80's flicks.. but.. for ME.. the best TWO 80's movies.. and probably the most iconic...
The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi.
I mean.. talk about changing the way movies are viewed, made, merchandised, continued.. etcetc

These two movies cemented the Star Wars' legacy into EVERYONE'S world and it became a cultural phenomenon!

Scarface with Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer. I think that is the best known 80s film.
As for other Brain De Palma films that were well known for that time, and talked about occasionally, are Dressed to Kill and Body Double, although the best of the three is definitely Scarface.
