She is jealous and is calling you a s**t and saying other things to hurt your feelings, not because they are true. If you value her as a friend, you can ask her about her true feelings and reassure her that you value her as a friend.

She probably would like to have David as a b/f for herself. Now, I would like you to ask yourself a question. When you "suddenly" saw this "cute thong" and pulled Jocelyn and David into Victoria Secret, didn't you realize that this would be sexually exciting to David and that he might see this as you flirting with him?

Aren't you aware that girls are competitive around single, attractive guys, and that your friend might see that you showing David a thong that you were going to buy, as unfair competition?

It might help to talk to your friend about this and develop some ground rules about how you both are going to act when you are both together around a guy that one of you might see as attractive.

I hope this helps.

Well calling you a slut might be taking it too far. However, you have to step outside of yourself and look at your actions in front of David. Guys are tempted and simulated physically and visually. By holding up the thong and making mention of the strapless you allowed David an opportunityt to make a visual connection between you the thong and the strapless. Also your comfortability in mentioning these items may be read by David as you are interested in him seeing you in those items or interested in participating in activity that goes along with those items. it is all about perception...so I ask you do you understand how your friend could come to that comment? Besides it is obvious that she is interested in David.

doesn't sound like a friend to me...do nothing! it's not your fault that this guy that she likes suddenly showed up just when you were about to purchase several pieces of underwear. give her time, maybe she'll get over her anger and jealousy. but you don't owe her any explanation.

According to your answer to this question, you lost your virginity at 12. So yeah, I actually would call you a sl*t.
