Direct Deposit, is better all the way around, because you are not only saving the company money, but you are also saving yourself time and money, I mean why not get your check at midnight, instead of waiting till your company says you can come get it, then drive to the bank, then drive to the store, when you could always just drive directly to the store, and shop, go home, and be happy? Also if you do direct deposit you could have your rent and other bills taken directly out of your account, so that you don't have to deal with paper bills.... Thats my explaination anyway... LOL

Prefer to get in line and wait to cash my check. Dont trust my company to direct deposit.

Who waits in long lines? Don't go at noon, like the rest of the sheep do, and you'll never have to wait. More and more banks are offering Saturday and evening hours to help reduce and eliminate "the line".
With direct deposit, if your bank account is frozen because of a lawsuit judgment, you just lost your paycheck. While expensive, you'll never fear that horror when using a check cashing business.

Direct Deposit is the best. I can go out of town and not have to worry about my money being deposited. I also like it when my bills are taken out right away. My mortgage and car payment goes right out of my checking, I never miss a payment. I think in the future there won't be any banks with tellers, everything will be electronic.

I prefer to have the check in my hand that way I can see myself that I got my money. Banks always are screwing up something so I'm not too trusting with direct-deposit.

I don't even remember what a pay check (retirement check now) looks like, or a tax refund check. When I worked, it was pretty much mandatory for everyone to be on direct deposit. Crazy thing was, my boss was afraid his check wouldn't make it to the bank, sooo he traveled a lot and guess who had to take his check to the bank on pay day. You got it. I was not a happy camper.

Direct deposit is fast and easy and it is as secure as checks. My company has debit cards issued to each employee and our money is loaded each Friday without hassle. It has no fees and no contract obligations. Go direct deposit and save some trees!

I didn't even know they gave you the option anymore - I thought it was all direct deposit now. I think it's a better way - fast and very easy because I don't have to do anything.

Direct Deposit. That way I don't have to worry if the weather is bad or the printer went down. It's usually there after midnight on payday.
