Are you responsible? I think its excellent to use what training your parents have given you. Striking out on your own is excellent. As long as you know you can go back as a safety net.

I moved out when I was 18.

Do you have a job? Can you manage a household budget? Is there any way you can stay at home and save the money you earn? In my 40-year old opinion, you're too young. Let yourself grow up under the safe, and free, roof of your parent's house as long as possible. Make yourownmoney, save all you can, and have conversations with your parents about money and responsibilities.

I think it would be wise to stay with your parents as long as you can and save up money. It just depends on where you live, that will determine how much your rent will be, including water ,gas electric, groceries, phone bill, car payment if you have one, auto insurance, and anything that you will need for school. Just wait and save up as much money as you can, and start applying for scholarships now, it will help you from not having to get student loans.

Unless you have plans to go to college or the military or something that gets you out of the house pretty quickly, then YES - absolutely.

Thoughts to consider:
You'll need a job.
You'll need a budget and a plan to pay bills.
You'll need to know what to do in an emergency - freezer breaks down or something.

Good luck

Nope. Being out on your own carries one hell of a lot of responsibilities that most 18-year-olds are ill-equipped to handle. Stay with your parents as long as you can, seriously. I have a full-time job and a decent income and even I struggle every now and then. And I rely on no one but myself!

Go to college, get an education, just stick with your parents. They're annoying sometimes but believe me, you'll be thankful for their help when you get older.
