1, 1/4, 1/9, 1/16, 1/25, ___ , ____?

The denominators are successive squares.
4 is 2^2
9 is 3^2
16 is 4^2
25 is 5^2.
So the next number is 1/6^2 or 1/36.
The next is 1/7^2 or 1/49.
