You should say "Hey if your my friend, dont treat me like a fool, that isn't what true friends do stop it now." Then you'll find out if there really your friend ornot.

1. Recognize that "the fool" is something coming from within us. Unless that person has called us "a fool", this is part of our psyche that is being assumed based on another's actions.

2. If a person is stressing you out, let them know. If they decide they don't want to change their behaviour, you can also make a choice to limit the amount of suffering you have in your life. (It doesn't mean that you are right, or that they are at fault, only that the interactions are difficult for you to manage.)

3. No one is perfect. I was probably acting a fool a few times today. Oh well.

4. Avoid revenge. Assuming that you are correct on being treated like a fool, revenge is a nasty cycle that provides temporary pleasure but long term suffering.

You're a sweetie....tell this "friend" in his or her face very calmly, those exact word:
You treat me like a fool and it hurts,DON'T do it again.

P.S.; Life is a learning process and we don't have enough ...of 100 lives of 100 years to learn everything

A friend wouldn't treat you "like a fool," if your behavior is foolish. Any criticism or commentary on your behavior, by a friend, would be done so in a constructive, benevolent manner...if they are a friend.

Tam, If the friend is a true friend then you should be able to approach that person and share with them how you feel hurt by their words.
Like that old Inks Spots song...You'll always hurt, the one you love.. Someone you shouldn't hurt at all.....

Stop having time for them and have more time for people who are good for you.

The Will is positive, the Judgment is negative.

i dunno know how you feel about this but me? i'd drop them like a hot potato. you know the saying?...with friends like these...who needs enemies? life's way too short to sweat the issues. seek & find those who compliment you (and you to them).
