Wisdom, there are some people who are shallow people, who just look at the surface and do not look deep inside.
So, they just look at the "surface" of your questions and see some poor grammar & bad spelling. They do not look "deep inside" and see the intelligence and insight that your questions have.
It's understandable that your spelling & grammar are not the best - it's obvious that you are speaking a second language (and quite well, even though English is very difficult to learn).
I'm also surprised to find out that you are uneducated; your questions are the kind that come from an intelligent person. You may be missing a formal education in a school, but there are many ways to learn; and you have obviously done that.
As far as the people who are rude or downright mean to you, remind yourself thay THEY are the ignorant people, because they are. Their spelling & grammar is bad too, but not because they are learning a new language, but because they have no respect for themselves or others.
They don't care how they write or speak. Strangely enough, many of them get a kick out of (enjoy) being dumb and acting stupid. Yet, at the same time, they will insult someone who is obviously intelligent and trying to learn.
You don't have to prove anything to anyone. Just be yourself, continue to learn all your life. There is always something new to learn for everyone, not just for you. We all need to keep our minds open and aware. If we shut down our minds, we will become stagnant and no longer grow as people.
One more point about the people who don't understand someone like you who has to learn 2 languages...: once, someone said something to me, and I always remembered it because it was so insightful. He said, "I don't have to make them see that I am right — it's enough that I know I am right."
Ignorance breeds prejudice. So, do not worry about those kind of people. There are many nice people who offer constructive criticism - the type that is meant to teach, not hurt someone. The other people are destructive - they don't want to help teach another person; they just want to hurt.
It is important, for all of us, to learn how to separate the 2 types of people. And when we do, we can ignore the mean people and not let them hurt us. This can take time. It is part of growing as a person. We will always come across people who are not nice, who are mean & want to hurt us.
As we grow, we experience more & gain more knowledge. And as we work on understanding ourselves, through meditation, for example, we become wiser. There is inner turmoil, suffering, that we have to work through, and ultimately we will find peace within ourselves. When we find that peace, we are no longer bothered by people who are mean.
I hope you can look deep inside yourself and learn who you truly are, what is good about you, and what are some things you would like to make better. We all need to do that. It takes discipline and practice.
Meditate on how many people respect you & are nice to you, and how you are nice to people. Also, that you want to share what you know and learn what others know. Learn how this will bring people closer, and how we all can bring peace to this world.

Yes i know. Most of the times i answered your question i see others not being so considerate to you. Pity them because those who have been hurt will be set free in the end. Some people have no patience at all. They become irritated and outrightly say rude things to people instead of understanding you. Sometimes i wanted to defend you but this is a free country. Just do the most you can and everyday you will learn on your mistakes. Accept the insults not to be weak but to give you more strength to learn. I don't believe you are uneducated because you talk with sense if read between the lines. There are times really that your questions are hard to comprehend that's why they got pissed off on your questions. Those who will draw their answers could hardly ponder to think and give you a correct answer. The best way is to be careful with your spelling and grammar. There are good books to improve your english grammar. Keep on going.

Hi, im sorry that your going through so much dilema. I personally have felt lonely and fed up of life, even whilst in school. I know it may be hard, but i think the first thing to do is to build your self cofidence. Self confidence can make great changes in ones aura. Be positive, dont let things get to you, change negativity into positivity. With all this positivness you will be urged to go out and show the new confident you to the world. Look as if your important, like nothing can ever get to you. smile and people will come staright to you, People will be curious about you and approach you. Hold your head up high:) Go to a youth club (if that doesnt sound corny) if thats not your cup of tea, you could always join a hobby club - dancing, singing, acting...or find a job in a caffe? befriend co-workers, and talk to the customers. they might ask for your number :) Hope everything goes okay:) good luck darling!!! xxxx

People often lack patience with others. What is even sillier is that often the people who are the most critical aren't even able to use correct spelling and grammer themselves! I'd like to know how many of them can read and answer questions fluently in another language?!?
English is a very hard language to learn, even for those of us who have spoken it all of our life. Don't give up on learning English and please remember that while there are many jerks/morons out there that there are just as many of us nice, normal people too.
(by the way, what is your first language)

Many of the people here are not aware that this is an international site. They are not very worldly. Many of the people here are also very young and very poorly educated themselves, knowing only one language. And, most of the people who correct other people's grammar and spelling usually have nothing else to contribute to this site, except criticism. That is their only contribution to humanity in their larger lives, too, to scorn others. Just click on their avatars and see for yourself by reading through their past answers. There are also many concrete-thinking people who can comprehend only the "Letter of Law" and not the conceptual "Spirit of the Law", so to say. The irony in that behavior is that those "Grammar Police" types do not have the slightest artistic way with words or can they easily comprehend language. So, they seek to reduce others to give themselves a false sense of having risen themselves. I read all of your work here on Yahoo Answers. You and your words have been a fine addition to this community.

you are high educated person, even how bad your grammer is still cannot cover the eager to learn in knowledge inside your heart!!!
by the way, knowing two languages is common today, at least should know five languages for modern days........
i know outside still many people speak only one language, even how good they are in grammer and phrases, but inside understanding is limited!!! if compare with them, you are the best among them, why still have doubt to yourself?

Don't get me wrong, but some people are also correcting your grammar and spelling for you to learn more about the English language. Why don't you read more English books? It will help you. Reading books is my explanation to people who asked why I am good in English despite my race.

I understand...you have written several times that you don't know English well.....
And by the way......you ask some pretty great questions for someone who is not "educated".....
Just ignore them....how are going to learn if you don't keep using English to the best of your abilities?

On one hand, it's rude to tease someone who is doing their best to learn a foreign language.
Believe me, I've been there.
On the other hand, when you write a question or response in Yahoo Answers, there is a "Check Spelling" button to the upper right of the text box.
I suggest you use it from now on. That will help your spelling, if not your grammar.
Good luck!
