Just do it. No making lists of things to do, as that is another technique.
Shut off the TV and stereo (unless you are doing housework), put your voice messager on, and go straight to what you must do. Just do one task at a time. Once you have started, it will be easier to keep going.
I have found that just doing one little thing will soon get the ball rolling. I sometimes do five hours of work in three.

I was going to answer this before, but I kept putting it off...

Make a list of the things you need to do. Then take the top three things and do them. Foget about the rest of the list until you finish those three things. You see...we procrastinate when we are overwhelmed with all that needs to be done. So make the list smaller. Take small bites to eat the big cookie.

Maybe, firstly you should figure out why you don't want to do the thing you're putting off doing.
Procrastination is a defense mechanism.
Usually, chronic procrastinators are very unhappy with their lives and subconsciously searching for a way out of their miseries.

Learn to like the thing that you dislike doing. Make it fun. Make it interesting. Make it exciting. Find the value in that which you would rather not do.

You'll never procrastinate again.
