If you believe in the power of a rock to influence your life, then you need to find and wear a stone that will "give" you what you're looking for.
Healing, prosperity, love, peace - there is supposed to be a crystal for each.
You might check out http://www.astrologyzine.com/crystal for more information.

And you might get more answers if you ask this in the Mythology category (this is a Science category and astrology and crystals are not sciences).

Some would say your dob is lucky enough. I'm not into it anymore, but I would recommend a stone that you are most drawn to. If you are cloudy on these types of feelings start with quartz. There is a ton of information on the internet about different color stones and what each one does.
As for scientific proof...science looks down on things they can't replicate in many situations. Some things just don't work for some people.

I really do have knowledge about it. Gems don't effect your life at all -- it's a crock of nonsense just like astrology is. Now if you have valuable gems like diamonds or emeralds it will effect your life because you can sell them and be very rich!
