Who said she would win?

2007-08-14 14:24:56 · answer #1 · answered by hardwoodrods 6 · 11 4

Here's a hint. Except in the most extreme cases (like, "everyone will eventually die"), anytime someone says "everyone" believes/likes/hates ANYTHING, it's a lie.

Clearly, a lot of people dislike Hillary Clinton. A lot of OTHER people are positive she will win. And a WHOLE lot of people still think we've got a long time before primaries, much less the elections, and are willing to consider her as merely one variable in a much larger situation.

I'm not saying I have decided Clinton, so consider the following without bias.

It only takes one right answer, to an important enough question and a candidate can soar above the rest.

I completely believe that, even though I find it sad, that it really would only take one.
If any candidate had an epiphany on immigration, or energy independence, or Iraq....they could be completely clueless on all the issues if they could just satisfy 90% of the population on any one issue.

She's not going to win. Romney is going to win. She voted for the war. Thus it is not an issue that works for her. If she tries to say "well I don't support it now" she's a flip flopper and a fair-weather-fan of the military - what that says is when the going gets tough, she will "change her mind." If she tries to say "well I was tricked" that doesn't work either. (A) She had the same intelligence everyone else did and (B) nobody's vote hung on the yellowcake assertion, the far Left have failed to rewrite history on that one.

Think I'm wrong? Then why did this tack work so well against Kerry? All the GOP had to do was remind the voters that Kerry voted for the war.

I like this question...

2 reasons: 1) There is nobody presently running against her in either party.

2) The majority of media personalities are so hellbent on having a woman or black President that they will support either directly or indirectly- and since Obama can't keep his foot far from his mouth, Hillary stands alone

(Edwards is a mannequin running for VP).

If Hillary wins it will be due to sexism and her husband...although I wouldn't know which one would lead the way.

The Media is using the carrot & stick method on us. They're are hoping Hillary & who ever are in a head to head race and then they will give us a choice of the two evils, while portraying Hillary as the less evil. That way she wins, stupid but it works.

OK....I am going out on a limb here (most teachers are libs) but....I cannot get over that she allowed her husband to boink interns while in office and TOOK IT PUBLICLY....I have completely lost respect for her on THAT ALONE. If she cant stand up to her cheating husband,....she is supposed to PROTECT us and our kids' FUTURES? Please...By the way...she has advisors...they did her wrong in my opinion....(They were banking on the Jackie O. quiet sympathy )( "Oh her husband cheats....what a shame to do that to such a LADY") However...Jackie FEIGNED ignorance (and wasnt running,I might add) She(Hilary) would be in a much better place if her advisors had told her to KICK him ....HARD.... I might not especially believe in all of her politics...but I would believe in HER.People actually say "Well she did what she had to to advance her political career.....WELL AMERICANS......That is some SCARY ****....If she will take public humiliation day after day after day ....to advance HERSELF......does she really care about US? Or our kids?I think she is a puppet who says what needs to be said to be the first woman pres.....period. Remember there is a lot of money to be made JUST being AFFILIATED with the first female pres.....Welcome to America!!!!

Everyone does not dislike Hillary. She is leading every presidential and Dem nomination poll.
Clearly a lot of people like her very much.
There is a noisy element that like to tell us how much they and everyone detest her. But since they cannot seem to get thier argument straight as to whether it is because she is
a. A communist
b. A shameful populist changing principles with public opinion
c, Bought out by corporate interests
not a lot of credibility can be afforded them.

Not everyone is positive she will win, but it's what the media wants you to believe.. only the voters can determine that..

I have yet to hear someone say, "She's going to win." In the polls as of now, she's looking pretty good. However, you do realize that elections are a year away, right? She could totally slip at one debate and suddenly she'd be down with Edwards. And let me remind you that Obama isn't too far behind.
...And I was unaware that so many people disliked her. According to the numbers a lot of people like her.

she has plenty of money backing her. she knows how the game is played. people probably feel comfortable, she won't do the job perfect, but she'll do it as well as it has been done. (which isn't too good). possibly we'll be lucky and she'll do a few things better ?

there are a lot of things that people don't like about her / we don't like a lot of things about a lot of candidates. there just don't seem to be excellent/perfect choices. everything has a risk.
