whats 3a+c-5a-19 it's collect like terms

"Collect like terms" means get all the a's together, the b's together, the c's together etc. so here you have 3a and -5a. Do the arithmetic and you get -2a. As there is only one each of the other terms, they stay as is.
As answer 1 says the result is -2a + c - 19 = 0 (if it has to be in the form of an equation). No equation? Leave the = 19 out.

depends on how ur teacher wants it read its : -2a+c-19
