Okay, well I'm 13 and will be heading off to school soon, and I was wondering are guys even begining to mature at this age, are they drifting away from the slaps on the butts? Or are they getting worse?

Experience has taught me that guys don't mature until they are in their thirties. Of course there are exceptions to this rule (both the ones who mature earlier and the ones who never mature). Up until their mid-twenties, at the earliest, most guys think with their pee pee.
Prepare yourself honey, things will only get worse up until then.
Go ahead, rate me badly, but this is what my experience has taught me.

Don't listen to the people who say that guys never mature. I know many mature men and many immature women who are 50 y/o. It depends on the individual. When I was 18 y/o I didn't like dating 18 y/o girls because I thought that most of them were too immature for me.
Are guys more mature in high school than junior high? It depends on the boy. Most boys who are mature at this age have a hard time getting a g/f because girls find them boring. The girls like the excitement of going with a boy who is immature and is a risk taker.
Look for the more mature boys. I'm sure you will find them if you look. However, there will still be guys that will want to slap you on the butt. You don't have to put up with that if you don't want to.
If a boy does that, report him to the principal. He won't do that again. If you do that each time, word will get around and other boys will be less likely to do that. You may not want to go that far, but I just want to let you know of the option. Sometimes just a stern word to the boy will be enough.

guys maturing at 13..yea when pigs fly. i have always found that middle school boys are not very mature. im in high school (10th grade) now and most of the guys in my school still aren't.

All pre teens mature different. Many of the guys are going throught many changes physically and emotionally.

I want to know too. but all guys mature at different ages.

they're not getting better and they wont until about 25 years old. they might mature a bit by 17 though

Honey guys never get mature!My boyfriend is 37 and he still thinks like a teenager so get ready.And yes they get worse not better!

No, I am 16 and my experience and has been that there will be a LOT MORE SLAPS on the BUTTS.

hahah :) you could say that they do grow up a little bit but i wouldnt say that they mature till they are around 25. if ever. yeah. they dont really mature much . sorry.
