Yes but the way your cars floorpan is shaped will hamper how much of the carpet you can reach based on the size of your cleaners head. If you get the cheap Wal-Mart cleaner, you usually get several attachments that are smaller, therefore enabling you to get more of the carpet cleaned. If you look, you might even be able to find a cleaner specifically for auto's at the same Wal-Mart.

well yes if you use the attachment . but an upright wont work unless it too has a hose on it
