Don't use coinstar unless you are planning on using it at the store that it is at (usually they waive the fee if you buy stuff at the store with the money). I hate to recommend individual businesses but one bank, Commerce actually got this one right, they have a coin counter at almost every branch that is totally free and they pay you in bills right then and there....you cant beat it, dump your coins in the machine and out comes a receipt and you go to the counter and they hand you cash.

Yes, Take an empty bucket to the store, tell the manager this bucket was full of coins and that is all the machine gave you, see how much money you can squeeze out of them.

Lol once i put 13 cents into one of those coinstar machines!!X/D Apparently it costs money to change the coins into usable cash.....at least that's what i've been told.=)

You have to take that receipt to a cashier in the store, they will give you your penny. That machine just takes money, just gives receipts, it doesn't give money. The look on their face should be priceless.
