We recently bought a new house trailer, and on the window was a piece of white colored tape. It had been there for months I assume, because now, I can't get the tape residue off the window! Its like baked on from the sun always shining on it. Anyway, I've tried lighter fluid, and nail polish remover, and nothing seems to even slightly get it off. Any ideas?! Thanks in advance...

Either Goo-gone or isopropyl alcohol swabs (preferably the little square ones you can buy a box of 100 at any drug store).
Works all the time for me on any adhesive or baked-on glue!!

I don't know about Goof-off, but Goo Gone is available at Wal-Mart in the paint section.
I would try scraping it off with a razor.

Nail Varnish Remover, WD-40 or using a rag soaked in water to rub on the area of 'glue' that you want removed. We have recently had a new door and window installed, and in several places stickers had been stuck on the glass, and rubbing the sticky area with a wet rag worked.

there's a product called Goo B Gone. It's pretty common in Walmarts, hardware stores, drug stores, etc. It's usually perfect for this kind of thing.

Rubbing alcohol. Soak a washcloth in it and (ironically) tape it over the residue.
