Really happy?
Have you done or fullfilled EVERY desire in your life?

i am reasonably happy... but i have not fulfilled every desire...i hope i never will...

Life is about the unexpected. I plan to live a long life. There is a lot for me to see and do. I am a 32 yr. old African American woman. I am happily married with 2 children and a step daughter. I own my own home and SUV. I am in the process of starting my own real estate business. My husband is the bread winner. So I am a stay at home mom. I am even continuing my education. Next year we are planning to buy a larger home with at least 4 bedrooms. I am healthy.....so is my husband, kids and family. My father was diagnosed with kidney failure when I was 12. In 1995 he received a kidney transplant. In 2003 his transplant stopped working. He is currently on dialysis. I feel he is very blessed. My mom has never been sick . She is very blessed as well. My brother has been in trouble all his life. He has been shot 6 times, stabbed twice, shot in the face, in and out of prison since he was 18 and on many harmful drugs. Luckily GOD is always with him. I feel he is blessed. My children were born prematurely and are now some of the healthiest kids you would ever want to meet. SO..................................................
Am I happy? I would say YES. I could not be happier.

Yes, I am quite happy. However, we have different views of what happiness is. I don't equate happiness with desire fulfillment. In fact, that is one source of suffering.
I am happy, for example, when I hear music. I can listen to music day or night. I have complete control over the feeling of happiness. Each of us has one or more things that we know provides us with happiness. We are generally always in control of our happiness.

No I haven't....
But that doesn't mean I'm not satisfied with where I am. If I died tonight, I'd go out happy enough.
