I like Shortie better than Shrimpy, and even though spelling in this case doesn't affect pronounciation, I like it the way I spelled it. And as far as "cool," who knows? Weirder things have caught on.

shortie is a cute nickname...shrimpy makes me think about shrimp, but it's still cute in its own way lol

I don't really know that that is a nickname as much as a slang term. LOTS of girls are called shorty....

stick with 'shortie' it's a little unique. shrimpy would be more appropriate for a guy...
