Always after the shower, it's easier, and the facial hair is always softer after the shower

I do shave prior to showering, however I always wash may face first, then apply some "Lectric Shave", then use a Norelco three head rotary electric razor.
Shaving prior to showering was a routine I acquired during my time in the service and I use a electric shaver cause my facial hair is so course that a standard razor just tugs and pulls on the hairs vs actually shaving them.

If I am using a blade, I prefer to shave in the shower because it saves time and I don't have to put up with a steamed up mirror. It is usually the last ting I do so that the beard has time to soften.
If I am using my electric shaver I shave before showering or after my face is completely dry, at least one hour after shower.
In either case, I always shave at least one hour before sex.

3-shave after shower. Because pores on the skin are exfoliated after the shower, so it is easier for me to get a closer and clean shave. And removes in grown facial hairs.

Years ago when I had a room mate, it was important to get in bathroom, do your thing as fast as you could, and get out. We both had to get to work in the morning. I got so I shave in the shower, and I use Dove soap, instead of shaving cream. I like it that way, because I feel super clean and fresh and don't have to clean out the sink.

3 after a shower
because my hair is nice looking and I feel so clean. If I shave before a shower, my hair can get in the way.
But I shave after I get dressed.

I wash my face with soap and water, then shave and brush my teeth. After that, I shower. It gets rid of the residual shaving cream and tooth paste without wiping it on my towel.

After I shower. And I guess it's just because I like to shave right before I brush my teeth. (kind of a routine, I guess)

After or during is best.
If its a hot or warm shower, the water opens up the pores, allowing a smoother, cleaner, painless shave.

90% of the time after the shower, sometimes in the shower if I wake up late... never before the shower.. having skin all warmed up makes it much less likely I will cut myself.

I shave after the shower, because the hair is softer, cleaner and it's just the way I do it...it just feels natural...
