i know they left after harry went to be protected but what happened after that? *i have read all the books*

I was wondering the same thing. I think we pressured JK and made her rush so she didn't get enough time.

Rowling never said what would happen to them in the future, but hinted in the book that Harry will probably never see them again after the protective spell has been broken. The only reason that kept Harry in their place was the spell. I guess they learned that Harry had in fact survived the ordeal after the world has become a much better place to live (w/o random accidents and terrors from the death eaters) and returned to Private Drive. But after the war has finished, Harry must have stayed in the Burrow for a while before setting out on his own as an adult. Dursleys would come back to their house and live a normal life without Harry.

Yeah...i guess JK Rowling did not really tell us the details of what happen to them...but i imagine them living happily somewhere in europe,maybe not in London.Who knows maybe Dudley and Harry still keep in contact with each other all these years...

I think they probably returned to their house on Number 4 Privet Drive. That's actually what bugged me about the epilogue...Ms Rowling decides to include it, then tells you nothing of what you really want to know

I don't know what they did that year, but i'm sure afterward they returned to Number Four Privet Drive.

They went about living their lives...I am pretty sure JK said they all lived normal lives.
