I didn't like it. I thought the molesting scene, then car crash with Matt Dillion (what a spunk) was the best plot in the movie! felt it was too disjointed and hard to develop empathy towards any of the characters.

It was a good movie. I had predicted it would win Oscar for best movie. Thandie Newton was beautiful. After the Oprah interview of the cast, Ludacris went into a huff. He said that he was not given exposure enough and that the show mainly aimed at middle aged white women. Maybe that was a stunt because the movie spoke about just those attitudes. If you learn anything from the movie. It would be if you are Irani learn English so you can run a shop better. If you are Chinese, do not think you will escape with human trafficking. If you are white try to look around and see how things are and more look at yourself and see what you are. If you are black in a position to help people, help them irrespective of their skin colour. If you are a policeman, do not, and I mean do not abuse the trust of the common man. You just don't know what events the slightest of your actions might precipitate. And finally you have taste.

I though it was really cool! I havent seen it in a while but I remember loving the theme of the movie. Now, there are alot of movies like that- you know when all of the stories somehow all tie together- for example Babel.
But, Crash was such a real story on how we all stereotype and how we are all stereotyped

Which movie Crash?.. The older one with James Spader or the newish one?
Two completely different movies, ... I was not impressed with the newer one.. but the older one was unusually interesting..

it's a little on the preachy side, and some of the racism is forced for the story, but it definitely has some power. especially the scenes between the locksmith, his daughter, and the store owner. and i don't care what you've seen, who you know, what you heard, where you heard it... your mother. don cheadle is the man.

It was better than I thought it would be. Sometimes it was a little cliche' but overall it had a good message.
