The ones who say it don't realize just how bad things have been for the people that they say this to. Often times they are looking at it from their own perspective & not from the others persons.
An empathic or impathic person would not say this to you. They would understand what you mean & where you are coming from. Either because they have been similarly in your shoes or they truly understand where you are coming from.
There have been many times throughout my life I thought that things couldn't get much worse than they already were. There were times I thought things would never be good again. I'm glad those times have passed. I truly hope...Everything will begin to improve for you soon!
